Yes, Rock Roof offers free inspections. Our report to you will include photos, a written report, and honest recommendations. No obligation and no high-pressure sales pitch.
How quickly can you start?
Most residential jobs can begin within a few days, depending on weather and the availability of materials. Emergency tarping is always available the day you call.
Are you open 24/7?
We are open 7 days a week, but can only inspect, repair, and replace roofs during daylight hours.
How long does a roof last?
A typical asphalt shingle roof lasts about 20-25 years, depending on shingle quality, ventilation, and storm exposure.
How long does it take to replace a roof?
Most roofs are replaced in a day. However, larger homes and commercial projects may take a few days.
What should I expect on installation day?
The materials will be dropped off the day before, and the team will arrive bright and early on install day. All your plants and items near the house will be protected by tarps. At least one person will be designated to keep your yard free of debris, including using a magnetic roller to collect nails. Inside, you’ll hear banging from the tear-off, popping from the nail guns, and footsteps from the crew. It’s not deafeningly loud, but if you work from home, you may want to stay situated on the ground floor, if possible.
Can you match the shingles on my roof?
We do our best, but exact matches aren’t guaranteed. Over the years, the shingle color fades, so even if we can find the exact shingle, there will likely be a slight color variation.
What type of roofs do you install?
We install all types of roofs. Architectural shingles are the most popular, followed by flat roofs (primarily in the city) and metal roofs. Rock Roof is one of the few companies in the area that can repair and replace slate roofs.
Do you repair or replace gutters?
Yes, we can repair or replace your gutters.
Do you repair or replace siding?
Yes, our crew can repair and replace vinyl and James Hardie siding.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes, all the time. We work directly with the insurance company throughout the entire claim process, including the initial adjuster meeting, inspections, estimating, supplementing, and invoicing when the job is complete.
What type of warranties do you offer?
We offer a 25 year Rock Roof workmanship warranty – we stand by our work! We also offer warranties provided by the shingle manufacturer. We are a Certified Elite contractor with GAF, the largest shingle manufacturer in the country.

We work with several banks to offer the best financial solutions for roof and siding replacement, gutters, and storm damage work. Options include low monthly payments and fast approvals.
